Feedback From Local Businesses to Help Guide Construction Planning for Needed, Multi-Benefit Electric Transmission Project
Propel NY Energy, a collaboration between the New York Power Authority (NYPA) and New York Transco, today announced the expansion of a voluntary survey to include businesses located along or near its finalized underground transmission route in Suffolk County, Queens, the Bronx, and Westchester County. Previously, the survey was available for Nassau County and New Rochelle businesses, where a final route had already been identified. With the project team now having finalized the full 90-mile route, the survey has been expanded to include the entire project footprint.
The survey is designed to gather information and feedback about local business operations that can aid in construction planning and sequencing and maximize efficiencies.
