NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) — The NYPD launched an investigation into the death of a man in the Bronx on Sunday afternoon.
Just before 3 p.m., police responded to a 911 call at 1675 Lafayette Ave. in Soundview.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 37-year-old man unconscious and unresponsive with trauma to the body.
EMS pronounced the man dead on scene.
The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death.
An investigation remains ongoing.
The identity of the deceased is being withheld pending proper family notification.
