An NYPD officer was killed Friday evening in a crash in Campbell Hall in Orange County, state police say.
She was identified as Juliana Torsiello, a two-year member of the force.
Authorities say firefighters were called to 130 County Road 51 at around 6 p.m. for an overturned vehicle with at least one person entrapped.
Several NYPD members were seen with state police investigators at the scene during the night. The Orange County Medical Examiner was also present.
State police confirmed that a female NYPD officer died but did not elaborate.
