Jersey City Invites Public to Free Fourth of July Concert and Festival

JERSEY CITY, NJ – The public is invited to come out and celebrate Independence Day in Jersey City with an exciting lineup for the 2024 Fourth of July Festival and Concert, Mayor Steven Fulop reminded potential attendees.

The City bills this year’s celebration as bigger and better than ever, with an entertainment-packed day of family-friendly activities, dazzling fireworks over the Hudson River, and performances by international superstars Funk Flex, Fat Joe, and Wyclef Jean.

The Independence Day festivities start at noon with a street fair featuring more than 80 local artisans and food vendors.

The main stage features an all-day live concert with daytime talent leading up to headlining performances by nationally acclaimed artists at 6:10 p.m. and capped off by the grand finale fireworks by Grucci beginning at 9:25 p.m.

“Our Fourth of July Festival is a highlight of the summer, bringing together our diverse community to celebrate our nation’s independence with music, fun, and fireworks,” said Fulop.  “We look forward to welcoming residents and visitors alike for a fantastic day of festivities.”
