( WJET/WFXP )– A New York man has pleaded guilty to multiple criminal charges after robbing a Pennsylvania bank and leading state police on a chase in a stolen vehicle in June.
McKean County District Attorney’s Office announced Friday morning that 39-year-old Edwin McPeak Jr. pleaded guilty to robbery of a financial institution with a firearm, placing two victims in fear of serious bodily injury with a firearm, theft from a bank and receiving stolen property.

McPeak was arrested back on June 6 after police said he robbed the Hamlin Bank in Edlred Borough, McKean County with a handgun before fleeing in a car stolen in Cattaraugus County, NY.
Prior to the robbery, PSP Lewis Run had received a BOLO from Cattaraugus County for the car, which they said was involved in a separate bank robbery in New York.

He was spotted by police shortly after the robbery leading to a high-speed chase that ended when he crashed in the 1300 block of South Kendal Ave. in Bradford.
