Essex County Commissioner Brendan Gill Honors Montclair Native John Wynn for Decades of Service

MONTCLAIR, NJ –  Essex County Commissioner Brendan Gill honors John Wynn for 29 years of dedicated service, says county officials.

On Wednesday, September 11, Essex County Commissioner Brendan Gill recognized longtime Montclair resident, Wynn with a commendation for his 29 years of dedicated service as chair of the Montclair Township Planning Board.

Wynn, who retired in May, has been a fixture in Montclair’s civic life, contributing not only to the Planning Board but also to organizations like the Montclair Senior Housing Corporation and the American Red Cross. An attorney by profession, Wynn has lived in Montclair all his life and recently retired from LG Electronics, also in May.

According to his bio, Wynn who is admitted to the bar in New York and New Jersey, has been engaged in the practice of law for the past 43 years, with roles as a corporate attorney at Liberty Mutual, Pathmark, and LG Electronics.

During a brief ceremony, Gill presented a commendation on behalf of the Board of Commissioners to Wynn.
