N.Y. weather: What are chances for warmer-than-average November?

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. – Once the festive frights of Halloween have passed, all eyes will be on November and the final stretch to winter. Although naturally, temperatures will taper off, the latest outlook by the National Weather Service’s (NWS) Climate Prediction Center shows that it may take more time than usual, as warmer-than-average weather is likely in the month ahead.
