Brooklyn and all of New York City were key areas of job recovery post-pandemic largely because of a new phenomenon: opportunities to work remotely. As tech advances (such as Zoom) helped make this possible, it was also the preponderance of job categories in legal, arts, design, entertainment, sports and media in the metropolitan New York region.
