Mexican-Fusion Restaurant Opens

The Mexican fusion restaurant Bubbakoo’s Burritos has opened in Huntington Station.

The newest business at the renovated 7 East Jericho Turnpike site offers a menu that includes the recently renamed Papi Hibachi (hibachi style steak and shrimp) burrito, Nashville burrito, Burritodilla, customizable entrees and more.

The new restaurant is operated by Hiren Patel and opened on Friday. It is the 12th Bubbakoo’s in New York State.

“We are thrilled to bring Bubbakoo’s Burritos to Huntington Station,” said Patel. “Being the twelfth location in New York, this milestone reflects the incredible growth and popularity of the brand. Being part of a brand with such a strong commitment to its customers and community is truly rewarding. My team and I are eager to offer Huntington Station exciting Mexican fusion flavors while also creating new job opportunities in the community.”

Bubbakoo’s Burritos was founded by Paul Altero and Bill Hart in 2008. Their first store opened in Point Pleasant, NJ and they now have locations across 16 states.
