The former bodyguard of music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs has claimed that the music mogul performed a bird sacrifice just hours before he was cleared of all charges connected to a 1999 nightclub shooting in New York.
Shyne, a rising rapper now known as Moses Barrow, was found guilty in this same case and given a prison sentence. Gene Deal told the Hulu documentary The Honorable Shyne that he saw Diddy “sacrificing a bird” on his way to court for the final trial.
Diddy’s ‘bird sacrifice’ before shooting verdict
Former bodyguard Gene Deal gave a shocking account of what transpired before Sean “Diddy” Combs’ 1999 trial verdict. On his way to court, Combs made an unannounced stop at Central Park, which Deal remembered. Deal claimed Combs fell to his knees in front of another smoke-engulfed man.
According to reports, the man laid his hands on Combs and prayed while holding a Bible before telling him to let go of a white bird from a cage. Deal explained that after being released into the air, the bird died and fell to the ground.
