Joe Budden has found himself charged with “disorderly lewdness” after allegedly appearing naked on a neighbor’s ring doorbell in Edgewater, New Jersey.
According to reports , the charges stem from Dec. 4 after a complaint was made. Court records indicate Budden is scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 16 “for disorderly lewdness, a charge related to sexual misconduct or indecency in public.”
In a press release, Edgewater Police detailed the events leading to the arrest. Officers responded to a call from a resident who claimed Budden was “standing outside of their apartment door completely naked.”
The caller was reportedly alerted by their doorbell camera, which captured Budden allegedly attempting to enter a code into the neighbor’s keypad before returning to his own apartment across the hall. Edgewater Police Chief Martin has stated that “these charges are merely accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.”
