NYC graduation rates: See 2024 results from Staten Island high schools

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — New York high school graduation rates across the city and state have once again remained relatively flat when compared to the year prior, including at Staten Island public and charter high schools, according to recently released data from the New York state Education Department (NYSED).

The data tracked students who entered ninth grade in 2020, with figures reflecting the four-year graduation rate for students who graduated last year. In New York state overall, the graduation rate stayed at 86% year over year. In New York City public schools, the graduation dipped slightly, from 83.7% in 2023 to 83.3% in 2024, data shows.
