Possible measles exposure on Amtrak Northeast line

NEW YORK ( NEWS10 ) — Officials are warning that a man who rode on an Amtrak train was diagnosed with measles. They said the man rode a train to Washington, D.C. last week.

The train started in Boston, passed through New York City, and arrived in Washington last Thursday. Amtrak is reaching out directly to customers who were on the train to notify them of possible exposure.

Nearly 400 cases of measles have been confirmed in 18 states so far this year. Four of those cases have been in New York State.
