NEW YORK (PIX11) – Some New Yorkers can expect checks in the mail soon for school tax relief, according to Gov. Kathy Hochul.
The relief, for homeowners and seniors, is being given through the state’s STAR program. Over 400,000 people in New York City and more than 500,000 Long Island residents are eligible to receive a check, Hochul said.
