Assemblyman Ed Braunstein recently honored the winners of his annual Mother’s Day Essay & Poetry Contest for students in grades two through five.
Winners included second-grader Caleb Yoon, left, of PS 94 in Douglaston, with his essay titled, “All About My Mom”; third-grader Brady Kim of PS 203 in Bayside Hills for his essay, “Happy Mother’s Day”; fourth-grader Matteo Zuccarello of PS 98 in Douglaston for his work, “Mother’s Day Poem”; and fifth-grader Ellie Kang of PS 32 in Flushing, for her essay titled, “One of a Kind Mom.”…
