N.Y. weather: Following June heat wave, here’s what to expect in July

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — After a rain-filled spring and a scorching heat wave to kick off summer, New York City residents may be wondering what’s going on with the weather.

Although June looks to be closing out with seasonable highs in the lower 80s, the latest forecast for July indicates that the month will generally feature above-average temperatures and rainfall.
