Proposals for New York’s next commercial casinos heat up

NEW YORK (PIX11) –  From Manhattan high-rises to Queens redevelopment zones, the competition for New York’s next commercial casinos is heating up .

Although eight applications were submitted, the New York State Gaming Facility Location Board only has three available licenses. Among the potential sites are Yonkers, Coney Island, the Bronx, bustling Times Square, and Willets Point.
