Hochul says Mamdani needs ‘reset’ with NYPD

Gov. Kathy Hochul spent time in Queens Tuesday talking about education opportunities for CUNY students, to seniors about Medicaid cuts and promising small business owners she’s trying to help them.

She also spoke exclusively to NY1, discussing her role as the unofficial head of New York’s Democratic Party, and the challenges she faces in dealing with President Donald Trump and Democratic mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani.
