October forecast from National Weather Service points out this trend for New York’s fall weather

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — It may feel more like more of the same in October, as the latest monthly outlook by the National Weather Service’s Climate Prediction Center suggests warmer-than-average temperatures may characterize much of the month ahead.

According to the monthly temperature outlook issued on Thursday, there is a 40-50% probability that temperatures across most of New York will generally measure above average for the month of October.
