N.Y. Lottery: Couple claims $2M Mega Million prize, chooses one-time lump sum payment; here’s how they split it

Francine and Theodore Rosen of Massapequa, Long Island, made the purchase of a lifetime, winning a $2 million second prize in the New York Lottery’s Mega Millions game, lottery officials announced.

The pair matched the first five numbers in the April 15 drawing and doubled the standard $1 million second prize thanks to the Megaplier option they purchased with their ticket.

The winning numbers for that evening were: 06, 10, 13, 24, 63 and Mega Ball 02…
