NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — The New York City area won’t experience a white Christmas this year, but a winter system beginning Friday and continuing into Saturday morning could bring up to a half-foot of snow.
Christmas will see a mix of sun and clouds, according to AccuWeather. Highs will be in the mid-40s both days, with RealFeels in the 30s. Local travel should be a breeze, weather-wise at least.
Friday will also be quiet to start, but sunny skies will give way to clouds over the course of the day as the storm moves in.
The snow will likely arrive Friday evening and continue overnight into early Saturday morning…
