The New York metro area will warm up significantly Monday following a weekend marked by snow and ice, but the balmier temperatures won’t last for long.
The National Weather Service says high temperatures will rise to about 50 degrees by midday as rain and dense fog exit the area. Conditions will be warmest near the coast.
