More than 1,000 union nurses at three Long Island Northwell Health hospitals have issued a 10-day notice to strike, setting the stage for a potential walkout if contract negotiations fail.
Nurses represented by the New York State Nurses Association delivered strike notices Friday, Jan. 2, at Northwell hospitals in Huntington, Plainview, and Syosset, the union said.
