NEW YORK (PIX11) — The New York State Department of Health once again reported disheartening data as flu cases have been running rampant statewide.
Just after the NYSDOH reported a record number of weekly flu cases, it was also reported that there was a record number of flu hospitalizations.

Last week, there were 4,546 reported flu hospitalizations in New York, with 1,813 occurring in New York City.
