Teacher & A.D. 81 Candidate Morgan Evers Endorsed by New York Working Families Party

Morgan Evers, who launched her campaign to challenge local Assemblyman Jeffrey Dinowitz on Dec. 7, 2025 for his Assembly District 81 seat in the upcoming June primaries, has received the endorsement of the New York Working Families Party (NYWFP), describing Evers as a “bold new leader” in the affordability crisis.

Evers, a teacher, announced the news on Monday, March 23, as she continues her campaign to win the June 2026 primary against Dinowitz, who was elected to the seat in 1994.

“I’m honored to earn the WFP endorsement and proud to stand alongside the movement fighting for affordable housing, universal childcare, healthcare for all, and protecting immigrant communities,” Evers said. “With WFP’s support, we are ready to end more than three decades of status quo governance that’s hurting working families in the Northwest Bronx.”…
