Federal officials confirm investigation of LaGuardia crash

WASHINGTON (Gray DC) – Federal and state officials continue to investigate a deadly crash at New York’s LaGuardia Airport Monday night.

Secretary Sean Duffy, New York Governor Kathy Hochul, and New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani addressing the media Tuesday afternoon after an Air Canada Express jet crashed into a firetruck on runway four at LaGuardia Monday night. The crash left two pilots dead, 40 people in the hospital, and the airport closed for much of Tuesday.
