A Crown Heights parking lot used by the Metropolitan Transportation Authority will be transformed by the state into a new housing complex, ushering in about 300 new apartment units.
Governor Kathy Hochul on Tuesday said the MTA is seeking proposals to transform an underutilized lot at 1119 Pacific Street into a new residential complex.
“By leveraging underutilized, state-owned land and making improvements to critical infrastructure we will deliver the housing that New Yorkers need and deserve,” Hochul said in a statement. “I remain committed in my efforts to make New York more affordable, more livable and a great place to live, work and raise a family for generations to come.”…
