42nd St. Oyster Bar Shares New Reopening Update

Raleigh’s 42nd St. Oyster Bar has shared another update on its anticipated return, revealing that repairs are still underway at its original location at 508 W. Jones Street. In a recent Instagram post by the Triangle Business Journal, the restaurant said work continues behind the scenes as the team moves closer to reopening. According to this post, repairs are the current focus before a timeline can be finalized.

The update comes just weeks after Hunter Correll, the restaurant’s longtime general manager, told the Triangle Business Journal that structural repairs are delaying the reopening and that a more accurate timeline will be available once that work is complete. Correll also noted that the restaurant still plans to reopen, but no opening date has been set.
