A 36-year-old man wanted for a fatal shooting in Jersey City was arrested in North Carolina, authorities announced Tuesday, July 7.
At 2:30 p.m., on Sunday, June 28, Jersey City police responded to Orient Avenue near MLK Drive and found Jenaro Tejada, 38, with gunshot wounds, Hudson County Prosecutor Wayne Mello said. Tejada was transported to Jersey City Medical Center where he was pronounced dead, Mello said.
