More than 600 Duke Energy customers in Raleigh are without power after a large oak tree fell and took down power lines on Friday.
It happened on Glenwood Avenue at Vick Road, where a massive tree is blocking the road.
Glenwood is closed in both directions.
Crews were working to clear the area, but it was estimated that repairs could take several hours. However, by early evening, it appeared that power might not be restored until as late as 1 a.m…
