The North Carolina State Fairgrounds is getting a makeover. Three big projects are underway before the 2026 state fair kicks off. In a statement shared on social media, the N.C. Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services says visitors will spot fresh buildings and upgrades when gates swing open this October.
Crews are fixing up the Holshouser Building at the Raleigh fairgrounds. A year-round food hall and events center? Almost done. Workers just broke ground on a flower show building too.
