Hundreds of Wake County public school students could change schools in 2027 as part of a new reassignment plan that involves filling the district’s newest high school.
The Wake County school system released on Thursday the first draft of the student assignment plan for the 2027-28 school year. The plan helps fill the new Morrisville High School, relieve crowding at some schools, fill seats at other schools, and in some cases send students to schools closer to where they live.
