RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — After more than four years, construction on Atlantic Avenue has been completed, Raleigh city officials said Wednesday.
City of Raleigh officials said a ribbon cutting to celebrate the completion of the Atlantic Avenue improvement project will be held on Wednesday at 3 p.m. at Comfort Court and Atlantic Avenue.
Limited parking will be provided at 3401 Atlantic Avenue, according to city officials.
According to city officials, the improvements include new sidewalks and a multi-use path, green stormwater infrastructure, a new traffic signal and crosswalk at Brammer Drive, and new medians to enhance safety and mobility…
