Stolen vehicle crashes after deputy chase in Wake County: sheriff

RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) – A stolen vehicle was involved in a crash after Wake County deputies initiated a pursuit early Thursday morning, according to the sheriff’s office. Shortly before 4:30 a.m., deputies responded to a report of a stolen vehicle on Valview Street in North Raleigh. The sheriff’s office said the owner was able to track the truck, and deputies found it on Paces Forest Court, three miles from where it was reported stolen.
