GARNER, N.C. (WNCN) – Garner Police have decided not to file charges against a man who fatally shot another man in a Walmart parking lot on Tuesday evening. According to police, the shooting occurred at Walmart at 4500 Fayetteville Road on Jan. 23. Police say after an apparent argument, Colton Valdez, 29, approached a man and presented a weapon. The man then drew his gun and shot Valdez, who died shortly after the incident.
