DURHAM, N.C. (WNCN) – A Durham Police Department sergeant was named the employee of the month for the Criminal Investigation Division in December, officials say. Sgt. J. Clark was recognized after helping solve several high-profile robbery cases over the last eight months – including armed thefts and carjackings targeting Hispanic women and a robbery/kidnapping at gunpoint of an elderly couple, the Durham Police Department said.
