Raleigh Feb 06 Weekly Crime Report: 505 Incidents and 24 Crime Stories
During the last week, Raleigh reported a total of 505 crime cases. The majority of these crimes were thefts, accounting for 199 cases, followed by assaults and arrests, with 92 and 78 cases respectively. Vandalism also saw a significant number of incidents, with 51 reported cases. Other crimes such as burglary, trespassing, robbery, shooting, and disturbances were relatively less frequent, with 17, 16, 6, 2, and 1 cases respectively. The remaining 43 cases were classified under ‘Other’. The data indicates a concerning prevalence of theft and assault in the place, necessitating increased vigilance and law enforcement efforts to curb these incidents. Despite the high overall crime rate, it is somewhat reassuring that severe crimes such as shooting and robbery were on the lower end of the scale. However, the situation demands constant monitoring and proactive measures to maintain public safety.
