Wake County Feb 07 Weekly Crime Report: 557 Incidents and 43 Crime Stories
During the last week, Wake County reported a total of 557 crime cases. The most prevalent crime was theft, with 215 reported cases, making up almost 39% of the total crimes. This was followed by arrests and assaults, with 98 and 93 cases respectively, together accounting for nearly 34% of the total incidents. Vandalism also showed a significant count, with 60 cases reported. Other crimes, including burglary, trespass, robbery, shooting, vehicle pursuit, and a single case each of disturbance and arson, collectively constituted the remaining 27%.
