During the last week, Wake County reported a total of 557 crime cases. The most prevalent crime was theft, with 215 reported cases, making up almost 39% of the total crimes. This was followed by arrests and assaults, with 98 and 93 cases respectively, together accounting for nearly 34% of the total incidents.
