DURHAM, N.C. (WNCN) – A man was killed in a broad-daylight shooting in a north Durham shopping area Saturday afternoon, police said. The incident was reported just after 3:30 p.m. in the 3800 block of Guess Road, at the Willowdale Shopping Center and across from the Cross Creek Shopping Center, where a Food Lion and other stores are located, according to a news release from the Durham Police Department.
