RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) – In the second crash involving a Wake County EMS ambulance Sunday, a unit was hit along New Bern Avenue by a wrong-way driver, Raleigh police said. The wrong-way crash was reported around 11:20 p.m. along U.S. 64 Business/New Bern Avenue near Rogers Lane. The wreck comes nearly 12 hours after another ambulance crash in Garner.
