It started around 9 p.m. when State Highway Patrol clocked a white Kia traveling 95 miles per hour on I-540 near U.S. 1.
The trooper took off after the Kia, which refused to pull over or slow down.
Highway Patrol said it’s troopers used a PIT maneuver to try and stop the Kia as it traveled onto Triangle Town Boulevard off I-540.
However, the PIT maneuver failed. The driver of the Kia was slowed down but was able to recover and keep driving.
The Kia eventually crashed into the curb and came to a stop at Sumner Boulevard and Triangle Town Boulevard.
That’s when four people jumped out of the car and ran off.
Troopers chased after them, but were only able to capture one of the four.
ABC11 crews were there when law enforcement brought the one person they’d caught out of the woods in handcuffs.
A Highway Patrol helicopter and drone were seen flying over the area late into the night.
As of Wednesday morning, the three other people involved in the chase remain on the run.
