RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) – It’s National Volunteer Week and nonprofits across the Triangle still need your help to serve those in need. A recent study from the University of Maryland shows the rate of people volunteering has been dropping since the early 2010s and the COVID-19 pandemic only accelerated that decline.
