CBS 17 Storm Team visits Raleigh elementary school

RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) – CBS 17 Storm Team Meteorologist Rachel Duensing visited fifth graders at Poe Elementary School in Raleigh Friday afternoon. Students also learned about the different instruments that meteorologists use to collect weather data like balloons, airplanes, satellites and radar. They also talked about our main weather threats in Central North Carolina including hurricanes and tornadoes, which they were very interested in.
