APEX, N.C. (WNCN) – A woman was injured in a shooting at a mobile home park south of Apex Friday afternoon, according to the Wake County Sheriff’s Office. It was just after 4:15 p.m. Friday when deputies responded to the 3400 block of Cherrystone Lane in a residential area known as the Briarwood mobile home park. There they found an adult woman who had been shot and was suffering from non-life-threatening injuries. She was immediately transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
