Raleigh Gang Member Sentenced to 40 Years for Trafficking Fentanyl and Meth, Overseeing Drug Operations from Behind Bars

A member of the Crip gang was sentenced to 40 years in federal prison for his involvement in trafficking fentanyl and methamphetamine in and around Raleigh, North Carolina. According to a statement released by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of North Carolina, Marquis Peterson, 30, faced justice on charges that included conspiracy to distribute a controlled substance and weapon offenses. The conviction stemmed from his role as a significant source of narcotics in the region.
