North Carolina’s Music Scene Bands Together for Hurricane Helene Relief with Benefit Concerts Across the State

In the wake of Hurricane Helene’s devastation in Western North Carolina, local musicians and venues have rallied together to organize multiple benefit concerts aimed at supporting relief efforts. “Music for the Mountains,” featuring Old Crow Medicine Show and Friends, Chatham County Line, and BJ Barham from American Aquarium, is slated for October 27 at Raleigh’s Red Hat Amphitheater. According to a recent article on the City of Raleigh website, all proceeds from ticket sales are to directly benefit The Community Foundation of Western North Carolina, dedicated to helping those impacted by the hurricane.
