PITTSBORO, N.C. (WNCN) – The Chatham County Sheriff’s Office is requesting the public’s help in locating a missing elderly woman from Pittsboro. Deputies said that 83-year-old Alice McIlvaine Parsons was last in contact with someone on the phone around 6:30 p.m. Thursday, October 17. Concerned family members reached out to authorities on Friday after being unable to get a hold of her.
