WakeMed cuts ribbon on Wake Forest facility

A new medical facility in Wake Forest aims to meet the needs of a growing region by offering care in a variety of medical specialties.

WakeMed cut the ribbon Nov. 15 on a new medical park in Wake Forest.

The facility, which is located at 1030 Siena Drive in Wake Forest, affords patients access to care close to home in a number of fields. These include:

  • General Surgery
  • Heart and Vascular – Cardiology
  • Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Outpatient Lab
  • Wake Orthopaedics and Wake Ortho Physical Therapy
  • Adult & Pediatric Primary Care
  • Adult & Pediatric Urology

The new facility expands WakeMed’s footprint in Wake Forest. The medical provider already has an urgent care facility on South Main Street known as WakeMed My Care 365, and WakeMed North Hospital on Falls Of Neuse Road.

“WakeMed is growing rapidly in capability and capacity — all to keep up with the demand of this growing community,” Kristin Kelly, a senior specialist with WakeMed’s Communications team, said.

WakeMed seaders, including WakeMed president and CEO Donald Gintzig, were joined by Wake Forest Mayor Vivian Jones, and Jason Cannon, president of the Wake Forest Business & Industry Partnership, during the ribbon cutting ceremony.
