The Wake County Sheriff’s Office is investigating two separate incidents of shots being fired into occupied vehicles.
Around 8:45 p.m Dec. 23, deputies responded to a report of shots being fired at a car traveling near Wendell Falls Parkway and Eagle Rock Road, according to a press release from the sheriff’s office.
Later, around 10:15 p.m., the Wake County Sheriff’s Office received a report of shots fired at a car traveling on I-540 near Buffaloe Road that occurred earlier in the evening — around 8:30 p.m.
No injuries have been reported.
This is an ongoing investigation.
