CLAYTON — The Clayton Center’s Club Concert Series continues Friday, Jan. 10, with Heads Up Penny. The music starts at 7:30 p.m. in the council chambers at Town Hall, 111 E. Second St.
The Club Concert Series allows The Clayton Center to create an intimate, club-like atmosphere for smaller audiences.
Ticketing for the series is general admission and is limited to 120 people. The shows feature a “standing room” atmosphere with limited seating available on a first-come, first-seated basis.
Tickets for the Jan. 10 show are $20 and are available in advance online at theclaytoncenter.com or through The Clayton Center box office. Tickets will also be available at the door.
Heads Up Penny is a six-piece Raleigh band with influences rooted in blues, rock, country, funk, Americana and soul. HUP covers a massive array of hits — from Bruno Mars to Lynyrd Skynyrd, Bob Marley to Michael Jackson, The Beatles to Maroon 5.
The Clayton Center box office is closed for the holidays through Jan. 5 but reopens at noon on Monday, Jan. 6. Box office hours are noon to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and one hour before showtime on performance days. Call 919-553-1737 or go to theclaytoncenter.com for tickets and more information.
